Is this a real, paying job?+
Yes. You are paid for every minute you spend in conversation, plus any gifts people send you. Earnings show in the app as they happen, and you withdraw to your own UPI ID or bank account.
How much can I actually make?+
It depends on how long you talk and how long your conversations run, your per-minute rate rises the longer a call goes on, and again the more nights you are online. Use the calculator above for the hours you would really do; you see your exact rates in the app once you are approved. Gifts are on top, and video calls pay 1.5× once enabled.
Do I need any qualification or experience?+
No. After Hours is a place for warm, everyday conversation, you are company for someone at night, not a professional adviser. You need to be 18+, have a government photo ID and a PAN, and be a good listener.
Will anyone see my phone number or personal details?+
Never. People see only your first name, photo and voice. Phone numbers, emails and social handles are blocked in every chat, in both directions, and calls run through the app.
Do I have to show my face?+
No. Chat and voice need no camera at all. Video calls are optional, and only switch on after a short face check you choose to do.
How many hours do I have to work?+
As many or as few as you like. There are no shifts and no minimums, you go available when you want and switch off when you are done. You can decline any call.
When and how do I get paid?+
Withdraw any time you have ₹500 or more, to UPI or bank. It usually lands within a couple of hours. TDS at 10% is shown before you confirm, and your TDS certificate is in the app.
How long does approval take?+
A real person reviews every application, usually overnight and always within 24 hours. You will get a notification either way.
